Lagos All Progressive Congress (APC) has commensurated with the leadership of the party and the entire family members of the late chairman of Eti-Osa East LCDA, Rafiu Olufunmi Olatunji.
Rafiu Olufunmi Olatunji’s death was announced Tuesday morning after a brief illness.
Until his demise, Olatunji was the chairman of Eti-Osa East LCDA. He had also won the ticket of the party for the slated July 2021 local government election.
His media team announced via Facebook “With sorrow in our heart but in total submission to the will of Almighty Allah (S. W. T), we announce the passing, after a long battle with illness, our dear father, brother, friend, confidant, role model, Nation-builder, Hon. Olufunmi Rafiu Olatunji.
In a condolence message, APC state spokesperson, Seye Oladejo said late Olatunji was a committed party man who was totally committed to the development of his Local Council Development Area.
“The Lagos State APC commiserates with the entire leadership and membership of our party on the shocking and untimely passage of the chairman of Eti-Osa East LCDA, Rafiu Olufunmi Olatunji.
